What is the number of sigma and pi bond between crbon atoms in CaC2?

In CaC2 two carbon atoms are held together by one sigma and two pi bonds.

CaC2
The number of bonds between carbon atoms
No. of sigma bonds = 1
No. of Pi bonds = 2
H-C=_C-H acetylene structure
-C=_C-
C2^(2-) - is acetylene from which two protons have been removed
CaC2 + H2O -----> C2H2 (acetylene) + Ca(OH)2
This is used in acetylene preparation.
Note-Sorry for the structures.
